Earlier this week, it was announced that Saturday Night Live was hiring two more women, Jenny Slate and Nasim Pedrad for the upcoming season. What wasn't known is that those two were replacements, not additions, as Michaela Watkins (pictured) and Casey Wilson were both canned.

The 2009 Emmy Nominations are out. NBC's "30 Rock" has over 20 nominations to lead the pack, and "30 Rock" star Tina Fey has received not just a nomination for that show, but for her take-off on Sarah Palin on "Saturday Night Live."

NBC has announced a premiere date for its Celebrity Apprentice. The seventh edition of the show, which will feature 14 reasonably famous people vying to raise money for their favorite charities, is scheduled to premiere at 9 p.m. ET Thursday, Jan. 3, reports Zap2it.

The long awaited and talked about Youtube rival, Hulu, is finally here, or at least for some it is, as News Corporation and NBC began testing their site publicly Monday.

Apple® today announced that it will not be selling NBC television shows for the upcoming television season on its online iTunes® Store (www.itunes.com). The move follows NBC’s decision to not renew its agreement with iTunes after Apple declined to pay more than double the wholesale price for each NBC TV episode, which would have resulted in the retail price to consumers increasing to $4.99 per episode from the current $1.99.
