Nike is not endorsing NFL player Michael Vick

Earlier this week it was reported that Michael Vick, quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles, signed a deal with Nike. Today, Nike reported that they have absolutely no contract with Vick. Michael Vick signed on with Nike as a rookie in 2001 and they terminated his contract in August 2007 when he admitted his involvement in a dog fighting ring.

For now, he appears to be OK, but concussions are a worry in all levels of football, as this new study clearly notes.
