Nintendo recalls the straps of new Wii video games, because they are easy to tear and fly away from the players' hands, damaging either TV screens or somebody's face.

Today Nintendo announced the availability of it's new product Wii in Europe. Appearently there is a massive demand. The recommended cost of Wii is 249 Euro and it comes with Wii console, Wii Remote, Nunchuk, Sensor Bar, Stereo AV Cable, Wii console Stand (if you want to display the Wii vertically) and Wii sports. The Virtual Console service allows Wii owners to download and play classic Nintendo games on their Wii. There are 28 Virtual Console titles available in 2006, with more added to the range on a regular basis.
