The AT&T Foundation — the corporate philanthropy organization of AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) — has announced that it has awarded more than $135,000 to support nine Cleveland-area nonprofit organizations, including University Hospitals Health System Inc., through the AT&T Excelerator competitive technology grant program.

Thanks to $100,000 in grants from Verizon Pennsylvania, six nonprofit organizations will be able to offer scholarships to families who want to send their children to public, private or parochial schools in the commonwealth.
