Symantec Corp. , makers of Norton security software, today announced the availability of Norton AntiVirus 2009 Gaming Edition, a new offering designed specifically with the gaming community in mind.

Symantec, which is, quite honestly, the leading security software vendor, has released betas of two of its security programs. On Monday public betas were opened for both Norton Internet Security 2009 and Norton Antivirus 2009.

Symantec Corp. today announced the launch of Norton Internet Security 2008 and Norton AntiVirus 2008, industry leading security solutions that have been enhanced to provide computer users with comprehensive protection against new and emerging online threats, including disguised attacks used by drive-by downloads.
