In the planning stages of Opera Lyra Ottawa's 23rd season, Artistic Director Tyrone Paterson sought an opera that was outside the "popular" repertoire but still had recognizable tunes for this season's opera-in-concert. Mignon, by Ambroise Thomas fit the bill perfectly.
