The jubilant voices of the Harvard Glee Club perform in Phoenix June 7 at 8 p.m. The performance, under the direction of Dr. Kevin Leong, will showcase choral works both old and new, including Renaissance music, songs arranged specifically for the all-male chorus and works commissioned by the Glee Club for its 150th Anniversary.

The good citizens of Phoenix spotted strange red lights over the city on Monday evening. Arizona Republic reporter Anne Ryman, who lives in Deer Valley, reported seeing four lights in a square shape that eventually became a triangular shape. The lights were moving to the east and they disappeared one by one. She said the lights were visible for about 13 minutes at about 8 p.m..

International legend Eartha Kitt joins The Phoenix Symphony for a dazzling night of music on May 31 at 8:00 p.m. The performance, under the direction of Guest Conductor Daryl Waters, will showcase the distinctive and sultry voice of Ms. Kitt as she performs her signature songs including I Wanna Be Evil and C’est Si Bon. The evening concert takes place at Symphony Hall located in downtown Phoenix.

The Phoenix Symphony and Target are giving back to the local community with a fun-filled outdoor musical event on Sunday, March 9, 2008 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. at Steele Indian School Park. The fourth annual Target Music in the Park is a free event designed for families and music lovers of all ages showcasing a variety of music including Broadway tunes, African hand drumming, jazz and Latin funk.

In anticipation of its world premiere performance of Enemy Slayer: A Navajo Oratorio, The Phoenix Symphony is presenting a series of special events devoted to the Navajo culture that inspired Music Alive Composer-in-Residence Mark Grey's new work for chorus and orchestra.

The Phoenix Symphony's annual educational concerts continue with a special performance at the Maricopa County Events Center in Sun City West on January 30.
