On Thanksgiving Day 2009, President Barack Obama used his weekly address to express gratitude to America’s military men and women and their families, and give thanks for our nation’s many blessings. Obama also spoke of steps his administration is taking to repair the damaged economy.

(London, UK) British autism campaigners Ivan Corea and Kevin Healey have launched new initiatives in support of Gary McKinnon who faces extradition to the United States. McKinnon hacked into 97 America military computers at the Pentagon and Nasa between 2001 and 2002. The US authorities want him to be tried in America and serve a jail sentence. Autism campaigners in the UK maintain that Gary will not be able to cope with the hard American penal system because of health issues.

Autism Campaigners are calling on British Prime Minister Gordon Brown and US President Barack Obama to reach out to the vulnerable when they meet at the G20 London Summit later this week. G20 Leaders are meeting on the United Nations World Autism Awareness Day on 2nd April 2009.
