Golf champion Tiger Woods and his wife Elin Woods welcomed their first daughter, Sam Alexis, on Monday. Sam made her big debut just a few hours after her dad Tiger Woods finished second in the US Open.

In the end, it all made sense. All those golf players sinking down the stretch, drowning in their own sweat and tears, while a man called "The Duck" rose above the tidal wave of bogeys and floated off to his first major championship.

Angel Cabrera from Argentina wins US Open 2007 golf championship.

Denis Watson won the Senior PGA Championship. Watson, from Zimbabwe, edged Romero by two strokes to win his first title in 23 years and become the first international Senior PGA winner since Gary Player in 1990.

Zach Johnson proved Sunday at Masters 2008 Tournament that when he plays golf, he's capable of winning at golf's highest levels. Johnson, a 31-year-old Iowan, played the round of his life at Augusta National Golf Club.
