Nissan Motor Co. Ltd., today shared the progress report on its recycling efforts for the fiscal year 2007 (April 2007 to March 2008). This is the second consecutive year that Nissan has exceeded its target recycling rates for end-of-life vehicles (ELVs) in accordance with the Japan Automobile Recycling Law.

In a second consecutive day of testimony at the U.S. Congress, the top American commander in Iraq and the U.S. ambassador reported progress on key security and political issues, but warned that the progress is fragile and maintaining it requires a continuing American commitment.
