As if to confirm Henry Louis Gates' accusations of racism and racial profiling against the Boston PD, Boston police officer Justin Barrett sent an email containing racist comments to The Boston Globe, members of his National Guard unit and a select few Boston police officers. He has since been suspended, pending a termination hearing.
