Reports are that the company that wants to be all things Internet to all people, Google, is nearing launch of a music service. The service, called Google Music (or some have theorized, Google Audio), would undoubtedly be a major threat even to the 800-pound gorilla in the corner of the room: iTunes.

You'll probably recall Jammie Thomas, the only target of the RIAA to take her case to trial.
