San Diego marathon was just concluded and we have a winner. Khalid El Boumlili of Morocco, who dropped out of the LA Marathon on Monday at mile 18 due to hamstring problems, came back today to San Diego and became the winner of the 2009 Rock 'n' Roll Marathon. Yuliya Gromova of Russia, the defending women's champion, won her second straight San Diego Rock 'n' Roll Marathon with a personal best of 2:27:36.

Multi-Grammy-winning vocalist and songwriter, SEAL, will take the stage in celebration of the 10th anniversary Rock 'n' Roll Marathon in San Diego on Sunday, June 3, 2007 at COX Arena.
