‘Canada Collects’ At Royal Ontario Museum

The Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) is pleased to present Canada Collects: Treasures from Across the Nation, an integral component of the Museum’s Fall 2007 A Season of Canada. Discover Toronto With Royal Ontario Museum

Free, guided walking tours of Toronto's history and architecture Discover Toronto's unique architecture and rich history through ROMwalk, a series of free, guided walking tours of the city. From May to September each year, tour leaders from the Royal Ontario Museum's Department of Museum Volunteers will lead the public through some of Toronto's most distinctive landmarks and neighbourhoods. Last year ROMwalk took over 2,800 guests on free walks.

Royal Ontario Museum Receives $10 Million Gift

The Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) announces the largest corporate gift in its history from Teck Cominco Limited to the Renaissance ROM project. This landmark $10 million gift will establish the Teck Cominco Suite of Earth Sciences Galleries, the Teck Cominco Endowed Chair in Mineralogy and the Teck Cominco Digital Education Module in Earth Sciences, as well as create a new home for the Canadian Mining Hall of Fame at the Museum.
