On May 26th, 2008 on FORTS (Futures and options on RTS) there was registered a new record on the volume of open interest on gold options contracts. At the close of the trading session on May 26th, 2008 the volume of open interest made up 107 452 contracts.

Goldman Sachs was approved as a general settlement company on RTS derivatives market by the Derivatives Market Committee. Currently there are 136 settlement companies working on FORTS.

Over the week of May 19th – 23rd, 2008, RTS Index went down by 1,76% and reached 2435,20 points (2478,87 points as of May 16th, 2008). Leaders of negative impact on RTS Index became ОАО "LUKOIL" ordinary shares (LKOH), (-26,43 points), JSC "NOVATEK" ordinary shares (NVTK) (-5,97 points), OJSC "OC "Rosneft" ordinary shares (ROSN) (-5,72 points).

On May 7th, 2008 RTS Board of Directors approved OJSC "RTS" procedure on RAO UESR reorganization (further - Procedure).

On May 22nd, 2008 the Board of Directors of OJSC "Russian Trading System" decided to raise the question of additional issue of RTS shares at the Annual general shareholders meeting.

A new record in the volume of open interest on contracts traded on FORTS was set. At the end of the trading session of April 30th, 2008 the volume of open interest reached 9091606 contracts or 15,59 bln. US dollars.

During the week of March 31st – April 4th, 2008 RTS Index is up by 0,47% and reached 2059,05 (2049,40 as of March 28th, 2008). Leaders of positive impact on RTS Index became: Sberbank ordinary shares (SBER) - 14,69 points, Surgutneftegas ordinary shares (SNGS) - 4,35 points and JSC Uralkali ordinary shares (URKA) – 4,15 points.

The following securities transferred from Quotation list "B" are admitted to trading on OJSC "Russian Trading System" without listing procedure:

OJSC "Bank "Saint Petersburg" was approved as a General Clearing Member on FORTS by RTS Derivatives Market Commission.

Additional issue of JSC "TGK-6" ordinary shares was admitted to trading on OJSC "Russian Trading System" (state registration number 1-01-55091-E-013D of January 24th, 2008) in the number of 570 037 243 440 shares. Shares of primary and additional issues will be traded under a single ticker (Classic Market ticker – TGKF, T+0 Market ticker – TGKFG).

During the trading session a record number of trades in option contracts on FORTS was registered with the number of trades reaching 4343.

Over the week of April 28th – 30th, 2008, Russian Trading System Index went down by 0,31% and reached 2122,50 points (2129,15 points as of April 25th, 2008). Leaders of negative impact on RTS Index became: OJSC "MMC "NORILSK NICKEL" ordinary shares (GMKN) (-4,42 points), JSC Uralkali ordinary shares (URKA) (-3,45 points), Mechel ОАО ordinary shares (MTLR) (-3,38 points).
