The House Science and Technology Committee today introduced legislation that highlights the growing attention on Capitol Hill to the need to strengthen federal efforts to learn more about the potential environmental, health and safety (EHS) risks posed by engineered nanomaterials.

The Siemens Industrial Solutions and Services Group (I&S) has received an order from Zakłady Usług Energetycznych i Komunikacyjnych grupa ZUE S.A. (Energy Services and Road Transport Services Company, ZUE Group, a public limited company), Krakow, to equip a tunnel for a high-speed tramcar with a control system and safety equipment. The system will be used to control and monitor the safety systems.
