Todd R. Henry, 50, a music therapist for special needs students at John Tyler High School, was stabbed by a student earlier this morning. He later died, and the student has been taken into custody.

U.S. President Barack Obama gave his rah, rah type speech to students today. While there has been controversy over his speech, with conservatives forgetting how their hero Ronald Reagan met with students during his term, and as the school speech video shows, Obama did nothing to "indoctrinate" students, but rather encouraged them to work hard.

All the wild, crazy panic of the right over a speech by the President of the United States, which has been done by the right wing's hero, Ronald Reagan, in the past, mind you. All for what? A rah, rah speech that exhorts children to study hard? That's what it looks like, as Obama's school speech text was released by the White House, as promised.

Police officials have launched a nationwide manhunt for 29-year-old Stephen Morgan, the suspect in a shooting that killed Wesleyan University student Johanna Justin-Jinich yesterday.

It's hard to believe, but Monday, April 20th is the 10th anniversary of the Columbine High School Massacre. Columbine High School is in Columbine in unincorporated Jefferson County, Colorado, near Denver and Littleton. Two students, Eric Harris (left above) and Dylan Klebold, went on a murderous spree, killing 12 students and a teacher, as well as wounding 23 others, before committing suicide.
