Selling out is all to common in the world, particularly the world of famous people. It appears that Shakira may have been the next victim of this trend. Her latest single, does not reflect well the career and talent of a woman who, until now, produced genuinly creative work.

Vibrato -- the pulsating change of pitch in a singer’s voice -- is an important aspect of a singer’s expression, used extensively by both classical opera singers and pop stars like Shakira. Usually, the quality of a vibrato can only be judged subjectively by voice experts.

Shakira has been using her free time to study at UCLA. For the past month, the Colombian pop star has been attending a class at the University of California, Los Angeles, titled "Introduction to Western Civilization: Ancient Civilizations from Prehistory to Circa 843."
