New Brunswick’s State Theatre presents The Beach Boys, live in concert on Thursday, August 16 at 8pm. They will be performing such classic hits as “Surfin’ USA,” “Kokomo,” “Help Me Rhonda,” “I Get Around,” “California Girls,” as well as songs off their new album, The Warmth of the Sun. The Beach Boys include Mike Love, Bruce Johnston, John Cowsill, Tim Bonhomme, Chris Farmer, Mike Kowalski, Randell Kirsch, and Scott Totten.

Eric Krebs Productions presents Laughing Liberally, a comedy show that illuminates liberal ideas and advances progressive values through the use of humor and laughter, on Saturday, September 8 at 8pm, at State Theatre, New Jersey. The show will features the brightest progressive comedians from across the nation, including Dean Obiedallah, Julie Goldman, and Jim David as well as other up-and-coming performers.

The Aquila Theatre Company brings the classic literary text, Geoffrey Chaucer's The Canterbury Tales, down to earth Sunday, April 29 at 3pm at the State Theatre.
