HP Helps Record Number of Customers Reduce Risk and Improve Operational Availability

The New York Stock Exchange and NYSE Arca, subsidiaries of NYSE Group, Inc. (NYSE: NYX), will be closed on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2007 in observance of the national day of mourning for President Gerald R. Ford.

Dr. Tarisa Watanagase, Governor of the Bank of Thailand (BOT), announced that despite recent measures aiming at discouraging short-term capital inflows and limiting Thai baht speculation, short-term speculative inflows of various forms continue to persist, as evidenced by the volatility of the Thai baht and its rapid pace of appreciation.

Baxter International Inc. announced plans to withdraw the listing of its common stock from NYSE Arca, Inc., formerly the Pacific Exchange. Baxter's common stock will continue to be listed on the New York Stock Exchange, as well as the Chicago and Swiss Stock Exchanges.
