The Nasdaq Stock Market, Inc. mourns the passing of its founder and past President Gordon S. Macklin. Mr. Macklin founded NASDAQ in 1971 and served at NASDAQ and the NASD for close to two decades. He served as the President of the NASD from 1970-1987 and served as President of NASDAQ from 1975-1987.

Logitech International SA Joins NASDAQ

Logitech International SA (NASDAQ:LOGI) of Switzerland, will become a component of the NASDAQ-100 Index (NASDAQ: NDX) and the NASDAQ-100 Equal Weighted Index (NASDAQ: NDXE) prior to market open on February 1, 2007. Dell Receives NASDAQ Notice Due to Delay in Filing

Dell Inc. announced that the company received, a NASDAQ Staff Determination letter on December 15, 2006, saying the company is not in compliance with the NASDAQ continued listing requirements set forth in Marketplace Rule 4310(c) (14). The Determination letter relates to the company's Form 10-Q for the fiscal third quarter ended November 3, 2006.
