Alumni of the Universityof Phoenix tailgate party and call for scholarship applicants as the university is hosting homecoming activities.

The primary day to move into Indiana University residence halls will be Wednesday, Aug. 27. However, as early as Sunday, Aug. 24, students will begin moving into campus residence facilities.

Abhijit Mahato was a 29 year old grad student at Duke University. He was shot dead in an apartment complex in North Carolina Saturday afternoon. Mahato was in his second year at Duke’s Pratt School, studying for an engineering doctorate degree.

Three Virginia Tech students who suffered carbon monoxide poisoning were transferred to Duke University Medical Center Sunday evening. All three are conscious and alert, and they are listed in stable condition.

Earlier today, NBC News headquarters in New York received correspondence believed to be from Cho Seung-Hui, the gunman responsible for the fatal shootings at Norris Hall. The correspondence includes multiple photographs, video, and writings.
