United States car manufacturer Ford has announced that it is selling its luxury British car brands Jaguar and Land Rover to the Indian company Tata for around 1.3 billion euros.

Italian automobile manufacturer Fiat is keen that Tata wins the Jaguar and Land Rover deal and shares its technology with it, media reported on Sunday.

Tata Motors unveiled the eagerly awaited $2500 people's car - Nano at the country's biggest auto show, assuring that the four-wheeler will cost Rs one lakh as promised and meet all safety and emission norms.

Tata Nano was unveiled at the Auto Expo today in New Delhi, India. It will be launched in the market only towards the end of this year. Tata Nano is the world's cheapest car costing only $2500 dollars and is very likely to set a new trend in car industry.
