The graduating students of London Contemporary Dance School will present exciting new work made for them and by them in this year's Graduation Performances at The Place, Fri 28 June - Fri 4 July.

Richard Alston Dance Company returns to its home, the Robin Howard Dance Theatre at The Place, on Friday 13 and Saturday 14 June. The programme includes new works by company members Darren Ellis and Martin Lawrance as well as Richard Alston's acclaimed Nigredo, each accompanied by live music.

Returning to The Place from 27 March until 17 May, Spring Loaded is a renowned showcase for some of the most refreshing artists choreographing in the UK. The Place backs this conviction by investing in commissioning and initiatives that have enabled many of these artists to research, develop, create and rehearse their work.

The Place is packing over 30 cutting-edge dance performances into one all action weekend - Friday 16 to Sunday 18 November - in celebration of the Eurostar's arrival at the new St Pancras International station, just over the road from The Place.

The Place is stripping back the Robin Howard Dance Theatre to its bare wooden floor for this autumn's Touch Wood, a season of exploratory performances of works in an embryonic state.

The Place is celebrating the arrival of the first Eurostar train into the refurbished St Pancras Station and the regeneration of the Kings Cross area with a series of dance performances and outreach initiatives this November.

Spring Loaded, the annual season of new contemporary dance from emerging British-based choreographers, returns to The Place this year for the first time since 2000. Teeming with work that is fresh and creative, Spring Loaded is a showcase for the best choreography from the UK's most promising talent, with 16 companies performing over six weeks from 13 April to 19 May.
