Boston University’s Musical Theater, On Broadway Presents a Production of Fame

Boston University’s premiere musical theater company, On Broadway, presents a full-scale production of Fame, a story set during the last years of New York City's High School of the Performing Arts. The show will open Friday, November 2 at 8:00 PM, with additional performances on Saturday, November 3 at 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM at BU’s Tsai Performance Center (685 Commonwealth Avenue).

Coram Boy Adapted y Helen Edmundson

Currently playing to sold-out houses at the National Theatre in London, CORAM BOY adapted by Helen Edmundson from the award-winning novel by Jamila Gavin, directed by Melly Still, will open at Broadway's Imperial Theatre (249 West 45th Street ) on Wednesday, May 2, 2007. Preview performances will begin on Monday, April 16, 2007.

Seattle World Premiere Of Cry-Baby Delayed

SEATTLE - CRY-BABY, like THE WEDDING SINGER and HAIRSPRAY before it, has plans to move directly to Broadway from its world premiere in Seattle. However, due to a shortage of suitable Broadway theaters this spring, the New York producing team and The 5th Avenue Theatre have agreed to postpone the Seattle CRY-BABY debut until a Broadway venue becomes available.
