The World Bank Board of Executive Directors approved on June 28 a US $2.5 million International Development Association (IDA) grant for the repair and maintenance of electricity supply services in Timor-Leste.

The World Bank Board of Executive Directors approved on June 19 a US$ 6 million IDA grant to Timor-Leste's Ministry of Education and Culture to finance education policy development, resource management skills enhancement, learning materials and vocational skills innovation.
