"Mad Men" and "30 Rock" were big winners last year at the Emmys, and this year successfully defended their titles at the 2009 Emmy Awards, as repeat winners. Neil Patrick Harris had a successful turn as host as well, keeping the show moving and garnering some kudos from one of last year's hosts.

The 2009 Emmy Nominations are out. NBC's "30 Rock" has over 20 nominations to lead the pack, and "30 Rock" star Tina Fey has received not just a nomination for that show, but for her take-off on Sarah Palin on "Saturday Night Live."
