On Saturday, October 6, 2007 the east wall of the Royal Ontario Museum's (ROM) Hyacinth Gloria Chen Court will become the digital canvas for Canadian multimedia artist Charlie Pachter's imaginative art work.

Fact? or Fiction?, the phenomenally successful signature fundraising event organized by the Royal Ontario Museum Governors, returns for an 11th incredible year on Wednesday, October 17, 2007. The event will take place from 6:30 pm to 10:00 pm in the Hyacinth Gloria Chen Crystal Court of the ROM's Michael Lee-Chin Crystal, a suitably impressive venue for this social and intellectual feast.

TD Waterhouse and The National Ballet of Canada partner to bring the art of classical dance to young Canadians across western Canada through an innovative education outreach programme. This unique two-part programme encourages children to develop their imaginations, enhance their creativity and explore expression through movement.

The Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) presents the inaugural performance of DSM5, an original multimedia installation created by internationally-recognized Digital Video Jockey (DVJ) Charles Kriel. On Saturday, September 29 at 8:00 pm DVJ Kriel will mix DSM5 live with a concert-quality sound system and dramatic images projected onto the Bloor Street façade of the Michael Lee-Chin Crystal.

Karen Kain, Artistic Director of The National Ballet of Canada and Mavis Staines, Artistic Director of Canada's National Ballet School, announced a new joint project, YOU dance, designed for children in grades four to six.

The National Ballet of Canada brings Giselle, with Polyphonia, to six cities in western Canada from September 10 to 29, 2007. The company travels to Saskatoon (September 10-11), Calgary (September 13-15), Edmonton (September 18-19), Victoria (September 21-22), Nanaimo (September 24) and Vancouver (September 26-29).

The Royal Ontario Museum (ROM)’s Institute for Contemporary Culture (ICC) presents Shapeshifters, Time Travellers and Storytellers, the first ICC-organized exhibition in the Roloff Beny Gallery in the Michael Lee-Chin Crystal.
