Tylenol is widely used right before or after a vaccine to prevent fever in babies. However, a new study shows that using Tylenol may reduce the effectiveness of the vaccine. With the widespread use of the seasonal and H1N1 Swine Flu vaccines, it may be a good idea not to use Tylenol after a child gets the vaccine.

Tylenol manufacturer McNeil Consumer & Specialty Pharmaceuticals has issued a voluntary recall of several of their 2009 children's Tylenol products. The recall is not being advertised on the Tylenol Website or even the Food and Drug Administration site, but there was information on the Customer Care Center on the Tylenol site.

Johnson and Johnson have voluntarily recalled several Tylenol products for infants saying “rare instances of misuse” could lead to an overdose.
