US Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch presented the copies of her credentials to Foreign Minister of Armenia Mr. Edward Nalbandian. Thus U.S. has an ambassador in Armeia after two years of absense when the previous ambassador expressed his personal opinion acknowledging the events of 1915 in Eastern Turkey as genocide against Armenians.

A car bomb explosion outside the U.S. Embassy in the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, has killed at least 16 people, including six attackers. U.S. Embassy Spokesman Ryan Gliha said several other explosions occurred after the car bomb blast Wednesday.

Officials in Turkey say a shootout between armed men and police officers near the U.S. consulate in Istanbul has killed three policemen and three attackers.
