VMI junior Chavis Holmes (Charlotte, N.C.) and UNC Asheville junior Kenny George (Chicago, Ill.) have been selected as the Big South Conference Choice Hotels Men's Basketball Co-Players of the Week for games played from Jan. 1-6, while VMI guard Austin Kenon (Virginia Beach, Va.) has been selected as the New Balance Freshman of the Week for the same span, it was announced today by the League office.

The UNC Asheville Bulldogs visit Chapel Hill tonight and many will fondly recall Kenny George from last year’s game with UNCA.
