Obnoxious Protesters Disrupt Joe Biden's Rally in Tallahassee

A group of John McCain's supporters disrupted today Joe Biden's Rally in Tallahassee. Biden called for an end to the negative politics. "I know you find some of that obnoxious," Biden said amid the McCain siren. "But look folks. We've got to reach out. We've got to end this. Somebody's got to be big enough to stand up and end this."

Today Fred Bramante, a member of McCain's New Hampshire Leadership Committee and a 2008 Alternate Delegate to the Republican National Convention, announced his support for Senator Barack Obama. Florida Governor Extends Early Voting Hours

Governor Charlie Crist today signed Executive Order 08-217, extending the hours for early voting during the current General Election. Effective immediately, early voting sites will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., through Friday, October 31, 2008, and for a total of 12 hours between 7:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 1, and 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 2, 2008.

McCain Support Continues Downward Spiral, Says Pew

Barack Obama leads John McCain by a 52% to 36% margin in Pew’s latest nationwide survey of 1,325 registered voters. This is the fourth consecutive survey that has found support for the Republican candidate edging down. In contrast, since early October weekly Pew surveys have shown about the same number of respondents saying they back Obama. When the sample is narrowed to those most likely to vote, Obama leads by 53% to 38%.
