Nikolay Zamoroko will accept the Medal of the Righteous Among the Nations on behalf of his late mother, Yevgenia Zamoroko-Lysenko, at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum on Thursday, September 6, 2007, 9:00 a.m., marking the first time the award will be presented at the Museum.

The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum's Registry of Holocaust survivors, in conjunction with the Central Zionist Archives in Jerusalem, is searching for information on passengers of the refugee ship Exodus 1947. Professor Meier Schwarz, head of the Exodus Survivors Convention Committee, has located 1,800 of the approximately 4,500 original passengers.
