World-renowned soccer player David Beckham will become a member of the Los Angeles Galaxy of Major League Soccer (MLS) during the 2007 MLS season, it was announced by AEG. The 31-year-old midfielder will join the Galaxy after his contract with Real Madrid expires on June 30.

Bob Bradley Named Interim U.S. Men's Soccer National Team Head Coach

The U.S. Soccer Federation today named Chivas USA's Bob Bradley as interim head coach of the U.S. Men's Soccer National Team and head coach of the U.S. Men's Olympic Team. Bradley, the winningest manager in Major League Soccer history and reigning MLS Coach of the Year, leaves his duties as Chivas USA head coach effective immediately, having led the team to a 10-9-13 record and a Western Conference playoff berth in 2006, his lone season in charge of the Red-and-White.
