German retailer Galeria Kaufhof is pulling violent films and games from its store shelves, starting in April, in the wake of last week's tragic school shootings at Albertville Secondary School.

One of the studies in the book "Violent Video Game Effects on Children and Adolescents" (Oxford University Press, 2007, written by ISU Distinguished Professor of Psychology Craig Anderson, Assistant Professor of Psychology Douglas Gentile, and doctoral student Katherine Buckley surveyed 189 high school students.
