Mickey Mouse Celebrates His 81st Birthday

Mickey Mouse is celebrating his 81st birthday on Wednesday, November 18. Although he appeared in the animated short Plane Crazy earlier that year, November 18 is widely recognized as Mickey Mouse's real birthday. It was on that day back in 1928 that Steamboat Willie,the first Mickey Mouse cartoon with synchronized sound, was released.

Kirstie Kelly first designed wedding gowns inspired by Walt Disney princesses and now she has expanded her line to include diamond engagement rings. Her Kirstie Kelly for Disney by Mouawad line of Disney inspired engagement rings debuted Tuesday at the Intercontinental Barclay Hotel in New York as part of Bridal Fashion Week in New York. There are six engagement rings and matching wedding bands in the new Disney by Mouawad collection and they will be available in the spring 2010.
