MAD HOT II, The National Ballet of Canada’s annual fundraising gala, returns on June 17, 2008 to Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts. The National Post hailed last year’s MAD HOT as “the best gala” and The Globe and Mail named it the “best fundraising event” of 2007.

The National Ballet of Canada’s summer mixed programme opens on June 13 and includes Alberta Ballet’s The Fiddle and The Drum, presented at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts as part of Toronto's second annual Luminato – Toronto Festival of Arts & Creativity. Principal Dancer Nehemiah Kish will perform at Sadler's Wells Sampled in London, England with Royal Ballet Principal Dancer Alina Cojocaru on January 26 & 27. Mr. Kish and Ms. Cojocaru will perform Christopher Wheeldon's Prokofiev Pas de Deux, which was created on Mr. Kish by Mr. Wheeldon and made its North American premiere October 2007 in New York City.
