He even went so far as to say that there would even be some Republican senators who would support the legislation. Clinton speculated that Obama might be able to win over Maine Republicans Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins.

On Tuesday, Arkansas prosecutors charged Bill Clinton's former chief of staff with attempting to smuggle contraband into Arkansas' death row at the state's Varner Unit. An arrest warrant was issued for Betsey Wright and the former Bill Clinton chief of staff is expected to turn herself in next week.

Laura Ling and Euna Lee, two journalists who were arrested near the North Korean - Chinese border in March while on assignment from Current TV, arrived in California this morning. Their release was facilitated by former President Bill Clinton, who made an unannounced visit to North Korea and spoke directly with Kim Jong-Il.
