Because one of such pieces broke through the shed roof, 2 other wreckages hit the earth near people’s houses, threatening the lives of children. Overall there were found 11 wreckages.

GLAST spacecraft arrives in Florida to prepare for launch

NASA’s Gamma-ray Large Area Space Telescope, or GLAST, arrived Tuesday at the Astrotech payload processing facility near the Kennedy Space Center to begin final preparations for launch. Liftoff of GLAST aboard a Delta II rocket is currently targeted for 11:45 a.m. EDT on May 16.

The Second Young Engineers’ Satellite (YES2) was activated and separated from the Foton-M3 spacecraft earlier today. The tether deployed for 8.5 km, after which the Fotino capsule was released on its way to Earth.

ESA PR 28-2007. An unmanned Foton spacecraft, carrying a payload of more than 40 ESA experiments, was successfully launched earlier today. The Soyuz-U launcher lifted off from Baikonur Cosmodrome, Kazakhstan, at 13:00 CEST (11:00 GMT).

A computer for Endeavour shuttle was found damaged. Endeavour is scheduled for an August 7 mission, and NASA is going to repair the computer and launch the mission on the date.
