Swedish luxury car firm, Koenigsegg, pulled out of discussions with General Motors Tuesday to purchase the Saab unit. The loss of buyer interest could result in the end of the Saab brand.

Whether the 2011 Chevy Cruz will help or save GM's car sales only the time will show, but GM is already offering an email signup to get Cruze news updates. Apparently GM has embarked on a massive campaign to promote Chevy Cruze, the production of which is expected next year. Now future drivers can sign up with Chevrolet to stay up to date.
