McKinnon hacked into 97 America military computers at the Pentagon and Nasa between 2001 and 2002. The US authorities want him to be tried in America and serve a jail sentence. Autism campaigners in the UK maintain that Gary will not be able to cope with the hard American penal system because of health issues.
