Mickey Mouse is celebrating his 81st birthday on Wednesday, November 18. Although he appeared in the animated short Plane Crazy earlier that year, November 18 is widely recognized as Mickey Mouse's real birthday. It was on that day back in 1928 that Steamboat Willie,the first Mickey Mouse cartoon with synchronized sound, was released.

Her Kirstie Kelly for Disney by Mouawad line of Disney inspired engagement rings debuted Tuesday at the Intercontinental Barclay Hotel in New York as part of Bridal Fashion Week in New York. There are six engagement rings and matching wedding bands in the new Disney by Mouawad collection and they will be available in the spring 2010.

This high tech experience is named the "Sum of All Thrills", an interactive ride, and opened Wednesday at Walt Disney World in Florida. The ride is a thrill for children when creation comes to life and they can actually experience the ride they created.
