Nehalem, Intel's Core i7 CPU is not something you can buy yet. That won't happen until later this month. But as of today Intel is letting media dish on its latest line of CPUs, the previously codenamed Nehalem CPUs, now known as the Intel Core i7.

The FTC has opened a formal antitrust investigation into Intel's business practices, as revealed by an Intel press release issued Friday in response to a subpoena. Not just Intel, but rival AMD and several PC makers have begun to receive subpoenas from the commission. AMD, which has long complained about Intel's business practices, has not issued a statement yet.

First Sub-40 Nanometer NAND Flash Memory Device

Intel Corporation and Micron Technology, Inc. introduced the industry's first sub-40 nanometer (nm) NAND memory device, unveiling a 34nm 32 gigabit (Gb) multi-level cell chip. This process technology was jointly developed by Intel and Micron and manufactured by the companies' NAND flash joint venture, IM Flash Technologies (IMFT). It is the smallest NAND process geometry on the market.
