Blackberry Bold 9700 Launches in November

Research in Motion (RIM) has officially announced that the new Blackberry 9700 will be coming to "carriers around the world" starting in November. T-Mobile and AT&T are both rumored to be carriers for the new Bold 9700. The Blackberry Bold 9700 has frequently been call the "Onyx" through much of 2009 and is now ready to make its entrance.

Updated BlackBerry Desktop Software for the Mac OS is supposedly coming to Mac this month. Research in Motion (RIM) revealed the details about the Mac version of its desktop software today but did not give a specific release date. It's almost the end of September, so if the rumors are correct the release should be out in the next few days.

The BlackBerry security patch addresses a vulnerability in the PDF distiller program for the BlackBerry Enterprise Server, or simply BES. RIM has released a BlackBerry patch that should fix the vulnerability in BES 4.1.x and BES 5.0.
