Facebook and JP Morgan Chase will be spreading some holiday cheer this year with a joint effort to bring $5 Mil to charities that Facebook users will have the chance to choose. Facebook will now allow its users to donate to any one of over 500,000 local charities of their choosing in a program called Chase Community Giving.

An AP investigation seems to point to similar hoarding by the Army Emergency Relief fund, which is supposed to help put returning soldiers back on their feet.
