J.P. Losman just a few short years ago was the Buffalo Bills first round pick and was primed to be their starting quarterback. But after up and down play in Buffalo J.P. went on into free agency this spring. After entertaining offers from various NFL teams Losman opted to become the highest paid player in the UFL.

PLAY: The New York Times Sports Magazine reports in its June 3 issue that Wall Streeter Bill Hambrecht and Google executive Tim Armstrong are launching a professional football league, called United Football League (UFL) to compete with the N.F.L., and have lined up billionaire Mark Cuban as their first team owner.
