 <title>Philadelphia Museum Displays The Thinker</title>

 <description>“The Thinker,” one of Auguste Rodin’s most famous sculptures and a prominent feature of the museum containing some 120 works by the French artist, has been transported to the Philadelphia Museum of Art for safekeeping during the initial phase of renovations to the exterior landscape of the Rodin Museum and along the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.</description>

 <description>The world-famous Mexican-American sculptor Robert Graham has died. He was 70 years old. He created the life-size bronze sculpture of U.S. President Franklin Delano Roosevelt in a wheelchair at the Roosevelt Memorial in Washington. The bronze panels at the memorial depicting the 54 social programs of Roosevelt&#039;s New Deal are also Graham&#039;s creation. </description>

 <description>On June 7, 2008, the &lt;strong&gt;Museum&lt;/strong&gt; of Glass will introduce Mirrored Murrelets, a new outdoor art installation created by Arlington, WA, artist Joseph Rossano for the Museum&#039;s Mezzanine Plaza. Rossano created the glass birds for the installation in the Museum&#039;s Hot Shop during his Visiting Artist residency in January. Mirrored Murrelets will be on display through 2009 before it travels to additional venues around the country.</description>

Davis was a barber in Savannah, Georgia, who was also a self-taught woodcarver of remarkable talent. He created a body of highly refined sculpture that expresses his humor, dignity and deep faith. The exhibition offers an opportunity for audiences to appreciate Davis’ remarkable work, which is rarely seen outside of Savannah.</description>

Sixty Asian sculptures, most of which are Hindu and Buddhist gods and goddesses from Indonesia, India, Pakistan and China, will enter into dialogue with work by twenty-five 20th century sculptors at the Rijksmuseum aan Zee.</description>
