The second event in The Studio Theatre&#039;s new Opening Our Doors initiative, This Beautiful City takes on the Evangelical movement in America. In The Civilians&#039; signature style, the six company members mix docu-drama with cabaret, weaving engaging songs into a script based on interviews with actual people.</description>

Donald Fels and Signboard Painters of South India presents sixteen large-scale paintings that explore trade and globalization in India. Fels’ conceptual starting point for this &lt;strong&gt;exhibition &lt;/strong&gt;was Portuguese explorer Vasco da Gama’s 1498 voyage to Malabar, India, in search of a direct sea route for the spice trade. </description>

 <description>The Smithsonian&#039;s National Postal &lt;strong&gt;Museum&lt;/strong&gt; has received a well-known stamp collection from the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia. The Harry L. Jefferys collection, which includes an inverted Jenny and numerous other philatelic rarities, was bequeathed to the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia in 1948 by insurance executive H.L. Jefferys. It has been in storage at the Institute for decades.</description>
