A new law approved by the parliament in Catalonia in Spain treats the same space for a formal church to a mosque. According to Italian newspaper La Stampa the creation of a new party in Spain, called Mohammedan, the country sees a fall of one of the ancient social and religious taboos: the supremacy of Catholicism.

There was a time when parents tried to teach their kids acceptance. Gainesville, FL high school students have been sent home over the last few days for wearing t-shirts with the phrase “Islam is of the Devil” on teh back. The children wearing the shirts belong to the Dove World Outreach Center, an evangelical “New Testament Church.”

But the more controversial portion of the law, which many say constitutes marital rape, states that a husband can demand sex with his wife every four days unless she is ill or would be harmed by intercourse.
