OK, I admit, weekends are often slow tech news days, but anything about Britney Spears (at least the last few years, during her meltdown phase), is big news (OK, OK, I'm stretching things). News is, though, that Britney has joined Twitter.

Tonight is going to be a busy night for Twitter users, with more than 20 states voting in the biggest Super Tuesday primary in US history. Twitter has made some provision in terms of moving servers to new ISP to make it easier for Twitter users to follow and discuss Super Tuesday Results and Exit Polls on its website.

Google, Jaiku, GPhone, and Orkut make an interesting mashup that can lead to a re-evaluation of rumors that Google is competing with Microsoft to buy Facebook. Microsoft is now even more interested in Facebook. Google improving its own services. The Finnis mobile giant didn't see the opportunities in Jaiku. They payed €5,7bn for US based Naviteq. Navigation is expanding the horizons of mobile services. Jaiku is a perfect match for Google's next new thing -- the rumored gPhone!
